Praggnanandhaa Ramesh Babu is an Indian chess grandmaster. A chess prodigy, he is the second- youngest person ever to achieve the title of Grandmaster behind Sergey Karjakin.
He was born in Chennai, Tamil nadu, India on 10 th August, 2005. His current age is 12 yr old. He lives in the suburbs of Padi in Chennai. His father works in a bank and his mother is a homemaker.
He won the World Youth Chess Championship Under 8th title in 2013 and under 10 th title in 2015 respectively.
On 23rd June, 2018 at the age of 12 years, 10 months and 13 days, he became the second youngest person ever to achieve the status of grandmaster.
