It's cloudy outside, it hasn't started raining here yet, but I am still hopeful that it will. With the heat index it is well over 100 degress outside. Although the cloud cover does keep it a little bit cooler outside, which is at least something. However the rain would cool it off even more. So yes, I am actually asking for rain. That might seem crazy to a lot of people but when it's this hot and this humid, rain is a much better option. I've spent basically the last hour working on an article for Textbroker. I chose won kind of at random, and thought it would be a pretty easy little article. It turned into a little bit more work, but that's okay. I got it all typed out and I will give it another read through before posting it and turning it in. I will see if there are anymore that itnerest me, I've noticed that there aren't a whole lot of articles posted today. I haven't done a whole lot of other stuff today besides that article, and putting stuff up to pack away for the new house. I found a couple of places this morning and left messages. I have to call my manager on Monday and see if she will put me back on the schedule here next week so that I can get back in the swing of things. I have my fingers crossed that they are ready to bring me back. I know she was worried about me healing, but I have been doing fine here at home and have been moving stuff around and figure I can probably handle the cash register and some lighter stocking now. Plus with moving and everything else that is going to happen in the next month-ish, I need to get back to work. So keep your fingers crossed! I had a card left in the mailbox that said they had tried to deliver something and it needed a signature for them to deliver it. Which just means the mailman was too lazy to drive down to the house (our mailbox is on the main street, and we are a good quarter mile away from it) to deliver it. I tried to set up a re-delivery but it wouldn't work either because it needs a signature or because the website was just messing up, so Monday morning I will go to the post office and pick it up. Monday I also need to go get some more totes to pack books up and stuff in. Cardboard boxes are a no-no they just attract cockroaches no matter where you are in Florida. Plus, with plastic totes I can use them for storage in the new place. I don't think there will be anything else exciting this afternoon or evening. It'll probably be Monday or Tuesday before there is anything in the mail. It didn't look like anything was getting delivered today. I already know what I am making for dinner tonight, and probably tomorrow night as well. So there's not a whole lot to do for prepping for either of those things.
