Yesterday was the first of 2 Pensacola Beach air shows after a week of them celebrating Red White and Blues week on the beach. There was breakfast with the Blues on Wednesday and a couple of days of fly overs before the actual shows. They have other flying acts that started at noon with a swim break between those acts and the Blues performance (to give the crowd a chance to cool down since no one is allowed in the water when the plane are flying over.
I don't go to the beach show as I don't like being in the large crowd, but I was at home and looked out at the time of the show and we were having a downpour, but the only affect it had on the how was hen they left the base to fly over the Gulf which there there wasn't a cloud so according to the news media they were able to do their high show.
Today it is all clear everywhere which will make the crowds happy. Glad I am home where it is cool as most who are watching the show have been there since sunrise in order to get parking as all the lots were expected to be full by sunrise today.

I am not a crowd lover either, I would have stayed home.

That sounds like fun. I wanted to much to move to the Florida panhandle many ages ago. I had a job lined up at Ft. Walton Beach hospital. I could not find anywhere affordable to move to. I still miss the area.

I too like to avoid crowds. You can enjoy the beach when the show is over .
