Rained Out

I did go to work and the guy we gave food to last week did show up for work today and did a good job.
Most of the tree is off the house an I cut down the stuff in the flower beds and trimmed the hedge flat on the road side, but after an hour and a half the rain came and we called it a day.
In town the roads were flooded, it rained, no it poured! for 2 hours.
Summer time rain pattern.

It was ht and nice early but later it got the hotter and the rain came.

I am glad you were able to get the majority of it done. Hopefully it will dry out for you the next few days and you can have at it again.

@andriaperry The roof will be the most difficult and most likely the hottest part of the job. Not so bad though, just two more days hard labor.

As usual, it sounds like you got a lot of work done, even with the rain.
Me...….I was in bed for most of the day, and I don't feel any better as a result.
Hopefully tomorrow the aching in my head will stop.

@andriaperry Thank you. I just woke up for the day, and the bruised part of the back of my head hurts a lot less. There is pain in my head and my neck and upper back still, so there has been some progress.

@andriaperry It's definitely not good for those who have breathing problems. I don't remember California constantly having wildfires during the summer when I was a kid, but now it's a regular occurrence.

I am still in Oklahoma. It is overcast, and hot. My brother keeps the house very cold, though.I leave it the way he likes as it is not my bill, but it makes me very sleepy.
