Coincidence?

JJ posted about winning a cruise and not five minutes later I get a phone call saying I won $7000 from Publishers Clearing House.
The person who called didn't ask for me by name, nor immediately identify that he was calling from PCH. (I had to ask.)
I told him to mail it to me.

I did win a cruise once, a one-week-tour through the Mediterranean Sea. It was genuine, it was even announced on TV. I didn't go, though, because I won only *the cruise* and not also a ticket to the port from where the ship started and back home. I live in the south of Germany and the ship started in the south of France. Paying for a plane or train ticket myself would have been absurd.
So was it a scam after all? I don't really know.

@BarBaraPrz I've just remembered that some years ago I won a one-week holiday for two people - including the flight- in a hotel in Turkey. One had to go outside school holidays because then the hotels aren't full. Being a teacher I couldn't accept the offer. My headmaster would have thought that I'd become crazy asking for a free week to go on holiday abroad!
I gave the prize to my cousin who was already retired. She went there with her husband and was very content.
This cousin is a keen fan of comps and has already won many good things. For example furniture for a child's room and also a trip for two people, a round tour by coach through Scotland, flight from Germany to London included.

@BarBaraPrz my mom had a similar experience to that. She have received text messages claming than her sim card won big amount of money more than 5 times.

I don't think things like that can be trusted. The only thing you can do is pray you get the money and if you don't at least you have not lost anything. Nice dream though.
