Today Is My Day To Relax and Have Fun

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!
it's mid-week already and so far I've accomplished very little today. I had some things I wanted to get done but then the phone rang and I had a marathon phone chat with my friend. We haven't had a long talk in months so it was nice to catch up. Then my aunt called to tell me my uncle had surgery but is home and recovering nicely.
Today is my granddaughters 14th birthday so while I was in phone mode I called to wish her a Happy Birthday and see what she's doing for fun today.
Now my ear is a bit painful because I'm not used to having the phone pressed against my ear for long periods of time anymore. I do remember the days when my phone was always in my ear and chatting was as common as texting is now.
Since the day is already getting ahead of me I think I'll declare this a vacay day for me and just spend the rest of the day doing fun things rather than cleaning etc.
It's nice to be able to goof off for a day.

I hope you had a good day yesterday. Today is Thursday here in Jerusalem. I helped my friend declutter a room yesterday and we had a great time. I love to go to her. Today I did my grocery shopping.

It sounds like a good connecting day for you, you connected with a lot of loved ones.
Usually on my day off I spend it grocery shopping, running errands, cleaning and doing laundry.
But, this past week I have done none of that.
The good news for today is that I had less pain in the back of my head, where it was bruised, it feels a lot better. Amazing what a difference a day can make.

Have you tried speaker phone? I believe all phones have them and they work so well. Every day is a day off for me. 
I walk, go to the gym, do retail therapy, have lunch with friends, go out a lot with my hubby, get a mani/pedi, get a massage, read and read and read, and more of the same. I did most of that today!

I spend time with God and taking care of my kids every day, I love every second of it! =)
