Odd lines on packaging.

I was in line with a darling woman yesterday and I was kind of clowning around when I noticed on my prescription slip "take one pill by mouth". As I jumped on the comment, how else would I take it? Poke it up the out shoot? The darling lady behind me joined in with: " I bought a package of pine nuts at the store to sprinkle on top of a cake I had baked. I happened to read the package and it stated, on the package of nuts, "Caution, contents of this package were processed in a facility that processes nuts". Hummm, makes you wonder. Or how about on the cleaning fluid for your glasses: "Do not drink"? Or on little bars of soap: "Do not eat". Yeah it would taste so good! But one sip of water and it would slide right down! It got me to wondering and then I decided to throw it out to my fellow myLotters, what cautions on packaging have you laughing or scratching your head? Come on, let's have some fun and see how many odd lines we can come up with that are actually on the products.

It is amazing. But they probably save a lot in legal fees putting those cautions on the packaging.

More like they spend a lot on legal fees to put those cautions on packaging! Next we'll probably see it labeled "eat at your own risk".

There are so many "SUE CRAZY people in the States that they almost have to have an instruction on package. One of my favorites here was on a bag of rice I bought that said "97 percent rice". Wonder what was in the other 3 percent!

I really don't think you want to know! Especially where some of it is grown.

I can't think of one at the moment, but I know I've seen some weirdo instructions and cautions on Asian products. I don't know who translates these things, but some if it is quite hilarious, if not awful. I'll have to go around and see if I could find anything worth mentioning .

I'd love to have donations of funny ones from you! I'm sure you have some great ones! I found some great ones when I was living in Thailand for a year. I had them written down and had sent them home. I think Mom in one of her house cleaning fits threw them out. I have been to a couple of countries and had collected some real wonderfully funny "cautions". I'm looking forward to your contributions! I've seen many times on the dry laundry soap, keep in a cool dry place. Duhhh, like I'm going to soak the box and put it in the oven! I'm starting to collect them again and may try to put them in a book. Some of the ones I've seen are hysterical and wonderful for a laugh when you need one.
