Life Has A Way of Getting Away From Me

Hi everyone, sorry I have been a bit missing lately. Honestly, I have been sucked into doing surveys in my free time, I am trying to make a little extra money. We have had some interesting weather. We had heavy rain on Sunday afternoon and then again on Tuesday. Now the heat has broken and the humidity is down, it is glorious summer weather.
Al and I had dentist appointments this morning, I had a doctors appointment Tuesday and we went to pool exercise yesterday. We are going to the Parkinson Boxing exercise this afternoon.
I have been trying to get my blogs updated so I can make a little money there as well. I am not really obsessed with money but I want to get more repairs done on the house and I have the Ireland trip this fall, a little extra helps out!! Especially since I haven't changed my habit of eating out almost every day at least one meal!! lol
After I get back from exercise I will try to catch up with everyone. Forgive me for being so slow!!

I don`t make that much money writing online either and I have neglected the blogs, but as you said, every penny helps. I think I have over $100 saved in paypal now, from writing only.

I do miss everyone but the pay here is so small that I have to weight it in comparison. I am going to see if I can strike a balance because I feel like I must have missed a lot.

Yes that is it, when I worked and hubs worked we could always make a little extra but now on a fixed income, the options are limited. I like to have something extra that isn't intended for living expenses.

I guess I do, so far this week I have had a doctors appointment, both of us had dentist appointments. I picked up two grandsons Tuesday, one granddaughter yesterday and Jack today. Plus exercise. Life is not boring this week lol

I call this perfect Florida weather in the winter. I truly don't have the patience for surveys and would rather live in Florida for 6 months and a day to save income tax money.. For us, that amounts to over one hundred million surveys. Lol!

Our income is not huge so I don't see enough benefit for us in staying there longer. This year I am coming home mid-March since I have a genealogy conference the first week of April.

@DianneN That would be the best thing ever, I am going to be meeting up with Jeanne Baney and We are hoping Jeff Moffitt can make it this time, having you there too would be the cherry on top of the sundae!! We are going to Crystal River for the meeting I think at least that is what we thought at the last get together.

Yes, the first week of November with my friend and two other people. I am the only one who has ever been there before. We are staying in Dublin but plan to hire a driver for a day out of the city,

I am on some paying survey sites that seem to be working a little for me. We eat out too much but our incomes are cut down some, so that needs to stop. I do have an emergency fund on PayPal that is mostly from writing.

We have adjusted to the lessening of our incomes since we have been retired for quite a few years now, we are comfortable but I like to be a little more than comfortable lol

@BelleStarr - I love to make a little extra money now and then, too. I have been thinking about going back and updating old articles on my blog. I have 500 articles on it, but I think updating them would increase my income. Worth a shot, at any rate!

Yah I spend a couple hours at least on surveys and then I work on my travel blog, I have hundreds of articles I need to rewrite and get up.
