Return of Tacocat!

For the past week it’s been this therapy, that therapy, more therapy, and golf tournaments. As a result, I haven’t been able to frequent Chuy’s that much. When I was there a couple of weeks ago I made a friend with a stray black cat that I nicknamed “Tacocat” (after those Chuy’s shirts that say “Tacocat spelled backward is Tacocat”).
Yesterday I took a seat out on the patio, mainly to see if Tacocat and her two friends were still around.
Short answer? Yes.
She’s gotten more accustomed to using her power of persuasion on people having lunch on the patio. I wasn’t the only person sacrificing the chicken in my quesadilla to feed her. Better, she’s progressed to where she let me pet her.
JJ will tell you of the power that cats hold over us poor human slaves who think we own them. I guess I can vouch for that, too.

Once you feed a stray and they keep seeing you they will come up to you for more food.

@Hannihar — you say that like it’s a bad thing. 
I love cats. If I weren’t allergic to cats, Tacocat would be living here instead of under the bushes outside of a Mexican restaurant.

It not a bad thing. They see you as a friend that will feed the poor one. I used to feed stray cats and felt good that I did it. when I moved to where i live I made sure that someone would feed my cats too. I was very concerned about them. I see stray cats here but I only feed my cat. I have enough problems with my neighbors that they do not understand that animals are important too. I felt so bad for the cats living outside in the winter and in the summer that I wish I could have a place for them to be inside all the time. I can't afford it. I have to make sure my cat and I have a roof over our heads and can feed her and me and pay the bills and when unexpected things happen be prepared. We rent. We do not own, I love animals. I have had two cats and one dog. I love both.

That looks like my missing cat Sneezy, Lily's brother. Lily got in a fight with another cat today. She's ok, I think. She lost her collar again. Luckily I found it before my neighbor came to mow the grass.

This is a young cat. There are three of them living on the Chuy's patio. This one is the friendliest. I could grab her and take her home in a heartbeat if I weren't allergic to cats....

Perhaps the cats illegally crossed the border since they seem to enjoy the cuisine so much. I guess it feels like home
