Time to wind down...

We don't have a KK in town, but we do have a Dunkin. And Walmart which has doughnuts. I rarely get that many, but when I worked Thanksgiving last year with one of the managers- I got a dozen and took them in. And yeah that was a completely random story. My phone is still acting funny. Which is annoying. But oh well, maybe if I turn it off and charge it while I soak itll correct itself. I might actually manage to finish this book today. When do you leave on your trip?

@thislittlepennyearns We actually have a KK closer to us now. It was built a couple of years ago but we haven't been yet. Donuts are a very rare treat. Almost all the times I've had trouble with a phone I was able to fix it with powering it off for awhile. We leave early Friday morning but I'll be leaving my house on Thursday night and spending the night with one of my friends. I'm not sure but I think the other girl that is going with us is doing the same.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I went into Verizon today after I left work. Then I spent an additional two hours talking to customer service. I haven't gotten any incoming calls yet, so I don't know if they fixed it. But they did shut my service off last night. When I requested the switch to the unlimited high speed data thing, they messed it all up. So last night when it was supposed to go through, it showed that I didn't have enough money in my account when I did. So they had to switch me back. It was annoying and frustrating but hopefully it will be working now. I should get a phone call in a couple hours, that hopefully will prove that it is fixed. I very rarely get doughuts, but will get them if I run into Walmart before work. I prefer muffins if that's an option. Or a breakfast sandwich. Did you ever find buttons or whatever you were looking for for this weekend?

@thislittlepennyearns They actually gave you a new employee ID and new employee manual? Seriously? You already worked there! They should have just reactivated your old employee ID.

It ended up only taking about two hours. I got put back in the system. Got my new employee ID and the new employee manual and then got my schedule. Which of course has already changed.

@moffittjc that's not how dollar tree rolls. She told me when I took my medical leave that it would be like that

i had a pretty good one until Verizon messed up again. hopefully they finally fixed it.

Well, I have the rest of this week to lounge around. They can't put me on the schedule for this week because it was already made. So unless someone calls out i start next week.

they are. i slept okay and got up way earlier than i needed to.

So far it has been pretty good. Got back in the system at work, got my schedule. Which has already changed twice. I am waiting on a phone call and if that happens and goes well my day will be great.
