A Cool Swim

The water was a little cool when I went swimming today. But I enjoyed it anyway. I had the whole pool all to myself and plenty of room to swim, float and do my exercise. We first went to the pool at the leasing office but it was closed for cleaning, so we went to the pool at the workout room.
I was happy to find the shower working so I showered off the chlorine off before coming home. Several people were sitting around the pool. The sun had gone over and it was nice and shady. There are barbecue pits and tables just outside the fenced in pool, but nobody was using them.
For me I'd much rather cook at home in air conditioning. People do use them but mostly on weekends. I did laundry after I came home and now here I am on Mylot. I surprised myself this morning. I captured a little time to get on Mylot and answer all my notifications. So I'm not as behind as usual.
The picture is my granddaughter when she was about ten years old.

A dip in the pool must have cooled you off.

I love to go out for a swim right now either in a pool or at the beach.

I always think swimming is fun..unless the water is too cold or it is too breezy.

Sounds very refreshing! Glad you were able to relax and enjoy yourself, but I'm a little disappointed that I didn't get an invite! haha

@RubyHawk - Grandkids seem to grow up much faster than our own children did, don't they? Before we know it, they are grown and we rarely see them.

@DeborahDiane They do, I suppose it's because we are older. It seems to take a long time for our own to grow up at the time, but looking back it seems like hardly any time at all.

glad you had a nice day, and the pool to yourself.
i'd prefer cooking at home too, than outside.

@Courtlynn Yep, between having to carry food out and swatting bugs, it's not much fun, for me anyway.

I think that swimming is a very enjoyable activity. I like the water to be warm and I can't swim in a freezing cold pool. I get chilly when swimming in water that it too cool. I agree it isn't good to cook outside with flies bothering. I think cooking at home with the air conditioning on much better.
