There is no other choice but to find out time for exercise!

Yesterday evening on my way back to home I met one of my friends, she was on her way to consult a doctor for her cervical problem. She told me severe pain on her back neck. I know she is working on compute, constantly working for long hours making her sick. As an experienced person, I told her, you have to be particular on exercise on daily basis then only you can keep the problem away. She replied, she is too busy for anything so can’t find time for exercise. I know she has two children aged 9 and 5 so naturally she is busy at home as well. I remember, when my children were young I too thought, how can I find time for exercise? However, I learnt to stick with exercises as it is mandatory for being healthy. Cervical problems made me dizzy which collapsed all my daily routine often. I was trying to convince this to her but she stick with the same reply ‘ no time’. Let her learn like me from her own experience. Are you a person who gives value to other’s advise? Yes, experience is the great teacher.

It can be fun to exercise with your children like play with a ball, or play hide and seek games in a safe area. It is possible to go on a bike ride or even dance at home once your children have gone to bed,

Yes, it is possible if there is a will to do it. It is a must too when the physical health is affected badly.

I have so many things to do within the day. I dont have the energy to exercise. When I sit on a chair I always feel asleep because of tiredness.

I have survived this..by slouching. I am paying the price. I slouch and keep a distance of almost three and half to four feet or even more between me and the computer screen. In the process, the neck muscle does not get stiff but tummy does come out.

it is nice to give some pieces of advice as regards health issues, but if the person you give advice to has her reason of adhering to her beliefs and activities, i guess i have done my part and it is up to her if she listens or not.

She has small children and she is working also, so naturally 'time' is a problem. I understand all those things as I too crossed such situations in my life. However, when the health is affected and demand our attention then we have to find out time for the same.

You're right, quite many of our complaints can be got rid of with exercises. At the same time, right chair and right posture can help.

Most of us deal with problems only after they appear. Some of us learn as much as we can on how to prevent problems so that they don't appear. Our choice!

I can give advice to those who listen. If not, I still give a piece of advice and there will be no next time though.

Exercises is important in daily life. But at young age (below 35) we never realize the importance of keeping a disciplined life, just busy with works and other commitments.

Exercise is really must.. at least tell her to do the stretching sometimes getting out of the chair in the office while working so that it can relax her. But after this don't give any more advices because people don't often listen without experiencing themselves. Even my own sister doesn't listen to me but later she says oh yes you were right hahaha

If you feel healthy and energetic then it is enough. People who suffer cervical problems must find out time for regular exercise. No advise can help otherwise.
