What kind of people did you meet today: friendly or unfriendly?

As you went about your business, did you meet any people today? Were they friendly or unfriendly? Did anyone impress you? Did anyone make your day just a little bit better?

Today I did my shopping for the weekend. Since I don't have a car and have to walk and travel by bus, I went out twice to shop and to two different stores.
* I did not meet any unfriendly people.
* A mailman passing by and looking at the mail he was going to deliver as we passed looked up and said hello. Very nice!
* I approached a lady that arrived at a bus stop wondering when the next bus was going to pass. I told her that she had missed the bus by a minute and that the next one would pass in 30 minutes. She was a visitor to the area and did not want to stand there for 30 minutes. I told her that she could walk for five minutes to another street and that the busses there pass every 10 minutes. I was going that way and we talked as we walked to the bus stop. She was from Colombia, South America and spoke Spanish and some French and I got a chance to practice my French. She was very nice!
* A young girl on the bus offered me her seat. I prefer to stand as it will strengthen my leg muscles and thanked her very much for her kindness.
* As I was walking home with my backpack full of groceries and my two hands each holding a bag with items, I felt someone touch my shoulder from behind. It startled me as I did not know what was happening. It was a young girl offering to help me carry the bags. Again, I thanked her very much but told her that I could manage but appreciated her offer.

That's not good as it means that they felt sorry for me. I am not just getting old. I am old.

You really met nice people. I went out only to bring the glass bottles and the plastic bottles to the recycle containers. I met a lady with two dogs, who said Hello and kept her dog quiet while I was passing her. I met two very kind gentleman and one asked me if I was bringing the bottles to the bins and offered to bring them there for me. I thanked and told him that a little walk uphill was good for my legs.

Yes, when people are nice and friendly then it makes each day of life a pleasant experience. When I see someone with some challenges, I always offer my help and it makes them smile even when they decline the offer.

You met a lot of people today, really the only one I talked to at all was our waitress at lunch and she was very friendly.

Yes, some days I meet a lot of people and some days not too many. Friendly waitresses are always appreciated.

You had a good helpful day. I will say, in that last incident, if I were that girl, I would not think too kindly of you. She was offering to do something wonderful for you and you turned her down, taking her blessing from her. In blessing others, you are also blessed. It's a total win/win. Don't deprive someone of a blessing the next time someone offers to do something for you.

It is that I was balanced having a bag in each hand. I did thank her several tomes. I think that the fact that I thanked her and showed appreciation rewarded her. But I could be wrong about the whole thing.

Another lovely post from Felix!!!! Who wouldn't be nice 2 felix!!! It's about 50/50 with me!!! Every now and then an act of kindness comes my way!!! A nice man saw me admiring a bracelet at the store and offered to put it on his tab!!!

Yes, it was a nice day. I got all my shopping done and did lots of walking and enjoying the sun and the shade under the trees and the exercise.

I have met both friendly and unfriendly people today.
The people I met at the library were friendly and the waitress who served my breakfast was friendly.
This evening my husband and I went to the beach. Someone parked behind our car and we couldn't get out. We didn't exactly get a friendly reply when we asked them to move their car, but they did move the car.

I only went to one place yesterday, Friday, and that was the pet groomer shop. The lady was really friendly and so was the groomer. Instead of just texting me when they were done with Danie, she actually called me and said that Danie's looking pretty and ready to be picked up. When I arrived, they didn't put Danie in her crate but they were playing with her. I think they were smitten by her sweet charm.

That is a great experience. It seems that they really care and love their clients (Danie). Very nice!

@1hopefulman The person who gave her to me and I are fond of the game of thrones. We named her actually after Daenerys Targaryen whose nickname is Dany. But my French friend told me her sister's name is Dany so we have to change the to Danie.

I didn't meet anyone on that day as I didn't go out but on Saturday I sell at our Farmer's market and my customers are always friendly. Of course there are the odd ones who pass by and may make a snide remark here and there but thank goodness they are just passing by and don't stop.

this morning, i had a rather not good day. i asked the store owner about something and he answered me rudely. i kept my distance. when i went back, he was in his cordial way again. maybe the wife called his attention

@1hopefulman yes. apparently, this man favors my sister ore than me. i am not very cordial to them. my sister is. so, whenever my sister comes home after going to their store, i always expect some 'news/gossips' from her. hahaha

I was not out, except on my balcony I share with to other apartments, but had some dear friends who visiter and also neighbors, so it was very nice!

We went out to the beach today evening. had a long walk, and enjoyed the sea and the planes landing and taking off.
People are generally friendly and helpful though we have the occasional ones on Personal Mobility Devices speeding on our walkways endangering the pedestrians - siva

There are days when I don't go out for the whole day and meet no one. Those days are when it is raining really hard or stormy days in winter. I try to go out every in the good weather days.

It was such a beautiful day to be out and I found some cherries at a real good price and looking forward to eating some soon. The nice people made the day special!
