It was an unplanned trip but it was worth the adventure. Buluan island is a sanctuary to many fish species with white sand and clear waters located in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, Philippines just 15-20 minutes away from the main road. I'm really glad I rented a snorkel because I greatly enjoyed watching the variety of fish as they swim and hide in the coral reefs I got my skin tanned because I stayed under the sun swimming for hours. I like it there coz it's not.crowded so you can enjoy your moment there. Regarding safety, there's no worry because there's a small military camp there. I wish you can visit the site too ?? UPDATE: The picture attached was one of my shots.

sorry i can't see the picture. the file size should be 3mb or less, and the format should be in .JPG, .PNG, .IMG and .GIF format. how many hours did you travel to get there? how deep was the water?

Looks inviting to be there. I like beaches when they are not over crowded. Some popular beach resorts tend to become over commercialised that the place does not become relaxing anymore. That place of your seems a nice spot to relax and enjoy nature at its best.

The clear water with many fish must have been splendid to see. The white sand must have been lovely to see. I have my own snorkel which I have used in tropical places. It is pity you got sun tanned. I know when snorkelling your back gets a lot of sun so wear a white t-shirt to stop getting sunburn on your back.

I see. thank you for the tip. too bad I already bought a black with pink rash guard. I am planning to buy our own snorkel too. Those that I used were already loose so water gets in in a couple of minutes.
