One of the itineraries we have planned was visiting Washington DC since its a 4 hour travel to that place. We again started early in the morning. We tried 4am to be able to catch 8am in DC. The travel was smooth traffic was light and we passed thru New Jersey and had some breakfast there before proceeding further South. We arrive there 9am since we did not drive that fast. We just like relax driving to enjoy the views going to DC. As we arrive what is noticeable was the Cherry blossoms that were in full bloom. I read in the net that Spring is the time that Cherry Blossoms bloom in full. DC is known for having lots of it around the city. After arriving there we immediately proceeded to the iconic places such as the Lincoln Monument, the parks that surround it and of course the White House. lastly we proceeded to the Majestic Congress. I realized that White House is not that big place the gardens are amazing. There were lots of parks surrounding it. Walking on an early spring time is okay, you would not get easily tired as it is cold and sweating is not much of a problem whan walking around the city.

Oh no how I wish we could stay longer but we stayed there for only a month. We only have a tourist visa and we declared we will stay there for a month only. We complied so I guess we won't have bad record as tourist there.

@Letranknight2015 True never expected it that I would be able to go there this year. If you have seen my previous post about my application for visa. It took me lots of time to prepare everything and passing the interview and the preparation was indeed a big task for us family. But everything went on smooth along the way.

When you are in a strange country everything is new and interesting so you don't feel the need to rush your trips.

Enjoyed we really did took the most time there. Being there for only 30 days seems too short to really explore everything there since it is a big city and I am sure there are a lot of good places we could have been there.
