An unforgettable day in the school

If you had read my previous discussions, this is just the continuation of it. The students gave their letter of complaints to me against their bad teacher. I forwarded all of those letters to the principal. He listened to me intently as I told him about this bad teacher and the students' complaints. The principal then, asked me to bring him the students who wrote the letter of complaints in a way that the teacher won't noticed. Everytime, that the teacher I mentioned has a class, I excused students and sent them to office secretly. After the principal learned all the students complaints he felt so angry with this teacher. He immediately asked the secretary to inform the teacher to see him after class. The teacher told the secretary that if it is about his salary, he will go to the office of the principal. But, if it is other matters, he won't go. He will just see him the next day. Our principal thought it was all a joke. But, after class, he patiently waited for the teacher but it did not show up. He called his phone and even texted him but still no response from the teacher. And now, we are wondering if that teacher will show up or not for tomorrow. My colleagues told me they are nervous of what is happening and they are worried on me. Although I have fears on me, I am still doing the best I can to fight the fears. I need to be brave for the students who were molested and maltreated by that teacher.

Wow, that teacher clearly shows insubordination. If I were the principal I would make a report regarding that teachers behaviour considering the students' complaints, plus his insubordination when called into the office and he didn't come.

Yes..Actually we are wondering if he will show up tomorrow in the school. Maybe if he still wants to come to school, then, at this moment, he is thinking what alibi to say. He told the students he is taking up law. He encourages the students to commit rape and told them it is easy to escape that crime.

@annierose I think he was just arrogantly telling them what he has learned but not really encouraging them. I know someone who's like that when I was in law school.

It sounds like the teacher is not going to show up. Good for you for standing up for your students.

Thank you Judy. That is what I am praying for. I don't want to see him anymore because of what he did.

Have the students not told their parents about the abuse? Have the parents not taken any action?

the principal is your boss so when the boss calls you, you go. if you know you didn't do anything wrong, then that's your opportunity to defend yourself.

I think he knows already that there is something wrong. And maybe at this time, he is thinking how he is going to face the consequences.

He has been doing it many times. I am the one who feel ashamed by what he is doing but I keep my mouth close to him. He has a problem with the heart and I don't want to be the cause if something bad happen on him. I wonder that if he is really an educator, why does he act that way. Actually, I started to doubt now if he also has the same issue from the school were he came from.

@annierose That should not be enough reason to just let him be. The welfare of the students is much more important. If what he's doing blows up, the parents might transfer their children to other schools.

@sunrisefan I agree with what you say. Actually, if I am the parent, I might do the same thing. We had a meeting a while ago with the students and we agreed that we will give him just one last chance. Then, if he still continues with those malicious things, he will be automatically terminated from the job.

I think the police should be involved. This man obviously has something to hide or he would have confronted the principal when asked to be seen. If he doesn't come in to work the next day, the police should be dispatched to his residence to question him.

I hope so Frederick. The students told the principal to give him another chance.

@annierose "the students told the principal to give him another chance"? you mean they're still willing to be taught by him? how can they be sure he'll behave from now on?

@annierose I think he must face the law because as always stated "No one is above the law. If I am the parents of the victim I will definitely pursue the case.
