Well, that was impressive -- not! / myLot

The wind whipped up, dark clouds moved in, thunder rumbled, a few barely visible drops started to fall... Then there was a rather loud crack of lightning, and everything went back pretty much the way it's been all day here in St Catharines: high overcast with sunshine coming through. Meanwhile, according to the radio pronouncer in Toronto, they're having quite a display of weather.

I hate when that happens. I love a good storm, and have had plenty of "false starts" when it comes to storms around here. A few rumbles and then quiet.

It has been so rainy here lately. Every day for over a week the forecast shows rain. It's not April the weather needs to get the memo!

When I was single, had no commitment to anyone or anything in life, off from work, I used to like that sort of weather. I would curl myself in bed reading one novel after another. Life was bliss then. These days, that weather implies lots of trouble and complications!
