It keeps saying that I have 3 notifications even when I have none

Is this happening to anyone else? This has been going on for the past few days. I don't think it is an issue with people who have blocked me commenting on my stuff because, even then, I can at least SEE the notifications even if I can't respond to them. Anyone have any thoughts? @GoAskAlice

This can happen when a discussion which was notified to you was deleted. It is usually temporary and corrects itself after a while, though it may sometimes take a day or longer to take effect.

It has happened to me before and I figured these are notifications for posts that were deleted already.
