I'm puzzled about this, because my parents were Baby Boomers too! Naturally, I thought I was part of 'Generation X' for the longest time; but then I heard somewhere that the 'Millennial' generation started in 1980 (though--looking again now, at "the repository of all the world's wisdom" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation#List_of_generations --I see that 'the exact year it began is still up for debate'). In her one of her NETFLIX-specials, comedian Iliza Schlesinger tells a brief history of 'how the Greatest Generation had the Baby Boomers, who had Generation X & then had Millennials (a generation I now hate because I see how self-centered they are ... now that I'm pretty sure I'm not one of them ) From that brief account (which I can't post here because a) it's probably not a "legal" broadcast--an idea for a discussion there--and b) it uses some NSFW language (although maybe I should call it 'Not Safe For KIDS' or (like President Trump calls it) 'locker-room talk')), I see that Gen X & Millennials are "Big- & Little-Sibling"-generations. Kinda makes me wonder though ... I thought 'a generation' was "all brothers & sisters," regardless of 'what year they were born.' I guess "Mother Nature" and "Father Time" got a divorce & split up the kids; 'Mother Nature' got all the "children of Baby Boomers" who know that they belong to 'the generation after the Baby Boomers,' and Father Time got all the "children of Baby Boomers" who know that they belong to 'the generation born in the 1980's or early `90's,' Anyway, somehow they all gave birth to Generation Z (also known as the iGeneration, Post-Millennials, Homeland Generation, or Plurals).
