Update on yestersday shooting

The names have all been released for the victims. One police officer was 45. He leaves behind a wife and three children. The other police officer was 43. She went back to school and became a police officer at the age of 40. She leaves behind a husband and three sons. It was the end of her shift and the other officer was just coming on duty. She forgot something in the cruiser so she went back to get it. He was already in the car and the call came through. She decided to go with him as a backup on the call. They were both shot when they rushed in to help the two victims lying on the ground. The other two victims were a man and woman. They were just new into their relationship. I know a friend of the woman and she told me that it was the woman's ex boyfriend who killed them. He was jealous because she had startef dating somebody else so he killed her and her boyfriend. The shooter was shot by police and is in the hospital. Such a sad and tragic event. So many lives destroyed. *UPDATE The shooter was charged this morning with four counts of First Degree Murder. He will be in court on August 27 to answer to the charges.
