Good morning everyone! I hope you're doing well today. Things are great here! God loves you and allowed you to have another day of life. =) No more tooth pain-thank God!!! I had the heating pad on my face yesterday for a little bit to get out the last little bit of pain I had. I feel so much better! =) I'm so grateful. It was a bad infection and the antibiotics just needed extra time to work I guess. Yesterday we had our first Home School day! It went great!! The kids learned about code breaking, they learned about classification of animals and organisms, we did a Bible study, and they did some geometry lessons. It was good! =) Today we will be doing school work shortly. They are sleeping in-which is totally okay. (Love the freedom to do that with Home Schooling). Sometime this week they are having a get together with their old neighbor friends and we might go to the park. =)

I'm going to get coffee and do my devotions-need time with God every day. What's your plan for today?

That is so good that your pain is over and it was just a bad infection and not more serious dental issues.

Wonderful news that your pain is gone. I had my tests at the hospital early this morning, did some grocery shopping and had to have a nap. Now up again.

I teach classification. Did you guys do the whole kingdom phylum class order family genus species thing?

@NJChicaa They learned about which traits puts animals or organisms in the same kingdom, whether the organisms are unicellular or multicellular as well. They did most of their lessons on Mobymax and IXL. They loved it! =)

I'm so glad to read that your terrible infection has broken and is behind you.

Yesterday's home school sounds like it was a great day, I'm sure that you've got another great day lined up for today. I went back to work yesterday. I only work 2 hours a day to ease me back into things. It took me almost that long just to go thru my emails.

I hope to actually be able to do some concrete work today when I go in.

I am SO happy to hear that your tooth pain has subsided

My grandchildren that are home schooled started yesterday too. The others won't start public school until the last week of August. Either way, the summer flew by and school is once again the topic for conversation. Enjoy your day!!

@Courage7 Thank you, I am feeling better today! =) Code breaking is a system of symbols, letters, words, or signals that are used instead of ordinary words and numbers to send messages or store information. A code is used to keep the message short or to keep it secret. They had fun with it.
