What are you buying today?

I still need to buy the beeswax, the cocoa ( but I might choose a different) butter, and the containers to put these in.
I also need to continue shopping for my best friend's birthday. I may have more time than I already have, it depends on when we can get together and I can give her the gifts.
Oh, and I need to stop by a dollar tree and look about getting a bag or two to put the items in as well. I might look to see if I have a plain bag here before I do that.
I am not sure what else to get her, so I've been looking around. I have a few ideas though.
My food stuffs should be here by Friday, but seeing as it's in West Virginia now, it might be here earlier than that.
I should also get the kitchen scale on friday too.
Do you have anything besides groceries that you need to buy?

Have not had pizza hut in years. Don't really like pizza all that much.
Though pizza hut does have some good pasta dishes.

Dollar Tree carries a lot of those little containers.
I doubt I will but anything unless I buy another mold on eBay, or cash out on any of my websites..

Oops, I just realized I didn't clarify. I meant lip balm tubes.
I need to buy those, probably some little plastic seal things (I saw those on ebay).
Does dollar tree carry glass measuring cups? I know they have all sorts of utensils, but I don't remember ever seeing glass measuring cups.

@ScribbledAdNauseum they might have them. We have them around the holidays. But usually we just have the plastic ones . Family dollar might have them. But I get my glass stuff like that from Walmart.
I don't want to say they are going to have them and then they don't..

@thislittlepennyearns Nah, I understand. I might check family dollar. There's one sort of on the way to the thrift store, if you go the back way. There's a dollar store in a shopping center across from the thrift store now that I am think of it.

I kept needing to get conditioner. I finally got that today.
I'm sure tax free weekend will be coming up soon. I think the kids around here go back towards the end of next week.

I wish I could make an afghan. I've tried needlecraft before (both crocheting, finger knitting, and loom knitting) but I was never any good at it.
Where are you buying the yarn? Or where do you intend to buy the yarn?

I need to buy a new pair of jean shorts, or three, before summer is over and the stores don't have them out anymore. Although I probably won't wear them until next spring lol. Also need to get some pillows, for when we need to change the ones we have.. and I need / want to get a new boombox as the one my cousin bought me for Christmas 2004 has the forward button missing, and the tape player hasn't worked since like 2006, lol.

@Courtlynn I always buy a size too big in shirts, and for pants? I tend to buy those in store. Shorts though? Especially for sleeping? I'll buy those online.

I usually wait until the end of summer, but not quite, and get stuff on sale. I also check walmart.com about that time, and look at their clearance stuff.
I've gotten jeans for $1.00 that way, a pair of leggings for $3.00, one of my favorite shirts for $1.00.
I'm not picky about where I get my clothes, as long as they are cheap and comfy.

@ScribbledAdNauseum problem with that for me is that i have to try them on. As there's so many brands and im not always the same size. But i do buy my clothes from walmart, plus kmart and sometimes kohls.

We are expecting storms here today. It wasn't too unbearable out there, but it's supposed to be hotter tomorrow.

I picked up my snacks for the week the other day, as well as a few necessities, and my nephew's late birthday gift came yesterday, so now I need to order my niece's birthday gift when I get paid. I got my nephew a guitar strap, and my niece wants a white/red t-shirt. I don't know if there's anything else I NEED to buy just yet.

I bought a bottle of sake. I am not getting drunk, I will try to do a Japanese recipe I saw on Youtube called Nikujaga. It is potatoes,carrots and thinly sliced pork or beef simmered in sake, sugar, some soy sauce and green beans,green onions.

Ha ha. I wish I could buy many things that I want but, I should always have the limit because of the budgeting requirement. I always think of the basic, but when you are already in the store there is this tendency that you will be tempted to buy that is not something in the list...
