Inviting Trouble

United States
August 17, 2018 3:42pm CST
My client is so lonely, that she puts up with things, that eventually trouble her. She has a friend who she calls and invites to lunch often, nothing wrong with that except my client has never had children, and the one she invites has a daughter and s son. I told her to be careful. Well of course she didn't listen. Now she is paying a price, because the little boy has begun to get on her nerves. I told her sometimes we bite off more than we can chew. She really has bad nerves, and can't put up with a lot. All I know is she did it to her.

That is a shame that the children get on her nerves. Children get on my nerves too and I've had two boys of my own.

@JudyEv Since she insisted on inviting her, and the kid is getting on her nerves. I suggested she take one of her nerve pills as soon as she gets out bed. lol.

@popciclecold I wonder what she'll do about it - if anything.

In this case, the lady should cancel those invitations.

I think she's too far gone. She has been inviting her for about 2 years. The little boy was in daycare and now the Mom took him out, so he's there everyday.

Loneliness is a terrible feeling and sometimes one will put up with anything so that they are not lonely. Glad that I enjoy my alone time as I can always find something to do.

@1hopefulman Yes, I told her sometimes it's better not to start a thing, than to start it and be miserable, and complaining.

@1hopeful man, I know this, and you're right she goes, overboard to not be lonely. She cooks and buys food she can't afford, just for friends. But the middle of the month she is broke. She also complains, about how they treat her, not buying food to help her out. I asked the Lord, to never let me get that lonely,

We had no children and I never invite people with kids because I know they would get on our nerves.

Children are a noisy bunch so if your client never had children I can see how they would get on her nerves.

I think she should have not invited the friend. She should understand herself better

I think she should ask her friend to leave the children with someone else when she comes.

Why would a little kid bother? Kids are kids. Guess she should have her own to understand them
