My daughter watched horror movies when she was a child and hid behind me. Now she's so brave, she doesn't do like that.

Actually I haven't watched a horror movie with my son yet. As I still think the children shall watch something that suit them. We often watch science fiction movies and documentaries. I found that my son is more interested in documentaries.

@youless My daughter never watches documentaries. Her favorite movie is Harry Potter. She has seen this series many times.

@compslick No it's just that I see whatever is happening but I donot hear the bacjkground music.. Because in horror movies, the main horrifying attribute is it's background music..!! And I anticipate it and then I mute it..

@youless Yes, I should patent this trick as I developed it because by brother did not stay with me when I wanted to watch a horror movie..

What I think 'scares' me about horror-movies is the disgusting scenes that stick in your mind (the same reason I don't watch Tosh.O--which I don't even know if COMEDY CENTRAL is still showing--anymore).
The same reason 'they' (mostly 'stand-up comedians') advise men to stay 'above the apron' at their wives' childbirth

After watching horror movies, I listened to music or, watch another movie but this time it's a happy story! Or watch some YouTube videos! Anything that will help me to forget what I've watched before I sleep, haha! There are times that I go to mall just to make my mind better and forget what I've watched
