Let's pretend Greek mythology is real. There are creatures called centaurs, who have the upper body of a human and the legs of a horse. And there's a creature called the Minotaur, who has he head of a bull while the rest of him is human. If the Minotaur married a female centaur, could their child have a bovine head and a horse's legs? Or a horse's head and bovine legs? Or would the animal attributes cancel each-other out and result in a normal-looking person?

I think if mythology is real then we don't have to worry about genetics. So the male Minotaur and female centaur can probably have a bird as a child. Or a mermaid like @Starmaiden says.

With Greek mythology anything is possible. It could be that she cheated on him and the mermaid was born into existence.

Oh yeah, I forgot. In Greek mythology, everyone is cheating on everyone with everyone.
