What's for dinner? August 22

I didn't really feel like cooking tonight, so I made stir fry as a compromise. It's a pretty hands-off meal, aside from cutting up the beef. I just toss a few cups of rice and water into the rice cooker (usually medium grain white rice but tonight it's a brown rice), dump a bag of frozen stir fry mix in a pan, throw some bottled teriyaki sauce in with it, and let the meat marinate until the vegetables are mostly thawed before adding that to the pan, too. I'm still not used to cooking for only three of us so there's plenty of leftovers for lunch or dinner tomorrow. Totally forgot that I picked up asparagus a few days ago, so I'll have to see about roasting that soon. I'm not sure what I'll end up pairing it with... might just eat it by itself because it sounds ridiculously good right now. Bonus points: I don't have to share with the kids because their heathen tastebuds have convinced them it's awful stuff.

Tonight is going to be burritos with whatever is handy tossed in.

I just had a bowl of cereal,,because we had a late lunch at Steak and Shake.

Even though I have leftovers, I decided that today I´d do something I shouldn´t. And I just made a big batch of French fries and brought them to bed with some ketchup on the side. SHAME!

Can I stop by? I have no plans for tonight. I like asparagus and rarely cook it here.
