Find the mole in the White House and win ! Place your bets !

France is launching a lottery and scratching tickets to restore historical monuments and I exceptionally bought a lottery ticket yesterday, more to give a little money to save a monument than with the hope of winning something, I never won anything at a lottery. Maybe am I on a slippery slope, but I would be tempted to bet on the name of the mole at the White House. I had some fun reading the anonymous editorial of the «resistant» in the White House published by the New-York Times, but quite everybody knows that the NYT is a source of fake news... According to a bigly good source of news, Fox, Mike Pence is the favorite mole of the bookies, listed at 2-3, because he is the only one to have used the word «lodestar» in several speeches. As the White House officials are not altar boys, he would not be my mole of choice on the finishing line, it seems too obvious to be true. The winners will be paid if the NYT confirms the name of the mole before Dec. 31, 2020.
Vice President Mike Pence – and “the field” – lead offshore bookmaking picks as the White House mole behind the anonymous bombshell New York Times op-ed blasting President Trump.

I've only read parts of the piece. I'll probably just watch FOX for the "truth." about it all.

You will get a summary of the official Fox position by watching the video on the article linked. Like Trump twitted : TREASON!"

I read something that convinced me that it was Larry Kudlow https://medium.com/@LePetitAnglais/the-anonymous-senior-trump-official-works-in-economics-and-is-probably-larry-kudlow-37a244bb9892
(edit 06 Sep): I regret the use of “probably” in the title.

He is not listed by the bookies... The beginning seems convincing, the hyphenation part is weak. If he is really an economist another possible choice would be Steve Mnuchin.

@NJChicaa I thought at him after reading your link. If Trump read it, he will fire both.

So they are betting on a mole un topo? Loads of Lotteries that spring up here and I don´t trust most of them either. If anything it has made me smile whomseover it is or could be is anyone´s guess I suppose and they seem to have plenty of scope as there seems to be a lot of people of whom they could suspect. I could not see the video on the link so I went to the actual youtube to find it and I am used to videos being blocked here. I wonder who hte mole is here that blocks them? Hope you win the Lottery tops here´s to that and its for a good cause after all. I would hope that they do a Lottery here for that also as the Statue of La Cibeles usually gets a good knock or two every Christmas and New Year and I don´t know how she is still in one piece.

@topffer Here is to wishing that you win it this time then. I once won two english pounds well two quid is what I call it on the Racehorse "Red Rum" and a lot were so envious and were hurtful just because I won two measly quid. However now I would not bet on that kind of thing ever again as I don´t like the way they treat them.

@topffer I am waiting to see if it comes out on the News or anything to do with that Pence guy who was a Governer for Indiana it seems also. There are always those around waiting to weave tangled webs.

I read this morning that Trump has shortened his list of suspects to 12. As Deep Throat II, the resisting mole, tells that there is a network of moles in the White House, I guess the best to be safe would be to shoot them at sunrise without a trial. The video is probably blocked by Fox News for Spain, maybe they have not realized yet that Spain was part of the EU. I have many news blocked in the USA since a few months because of the new EU law to protect privacy. I never won anything at a lottery. I thought that the idea was good and I bought a ticket. I did not ruined myself it is a 3 Euros investment. If it works like they expect, they told that they would organize one every year to restore historical monuments. The result on Sept. 14th.

I doubt that you can bet without paying cash for your bet. It is honest, you could have tried to give me another name.

I am not certain enough to bet on anyone. I hope, however, that it turns out to be Sarah Huckabee.

If she is a resistant in the White House, Pence has some chances to be elected like the next Pope.

Not too good in politics in order to make any bet there. Re: lotteries, I won $4 once , just a simple scratchies. I am not good in gambling or scratchies or raffle tickets.

@YrNemo I have 1/16 chances to win back my 3 euros. If it happens I will start a discussion.

I have bought lottery tickets with coworkers a few times, I never won a cent. I bought more tickets for charities, but I never controlled if I won. I lunched with a friend who had bought a (losing) scratching ticket for this heritage lottery. He convinced me that it was for a good cause and I bought a 3 euros ticket for this lottery, that I consider like a donation to restore a monument (there is a list of 269 monuments that will share the profits of this lottery).

@topffer I bought plenty of similar tickets for Scouts, knowing myself that I would never win. It is odd really, to pay money for some worthless piece of paper which both sides (the sellers and the buyers) pretend that there would be some chance to recoup the money .

I read about that whole "lodestar" thing - yah, it's interesting to try to figure out all the "clues" . I don't know enough to say who I think the mole is, but this could certainly be more fun than placing bets on horses .

It is also what I thought, but the race is difficult to follow. Deep Throat II (silver grey silks and cap) writes that there is a network of moles at the White House, but they all tell that they are not participating to the race.

In this case, I believe we will know the name before 2020. And we will have a book more, "I was the mole at the White House".

Silly man, never use an uncommon word if you intend to be a "mole". "Profil bas"

@LadyDuck The link given by NJChica suggests that it is from an economist with a college degree. Donald Trump?

Or the word was used to put the suspicion on Pence who cannot be fired.

Maybe "lodestar" has been carefully chosen to put the suspicion on somebody that Trump cannot fire?
