From Hot to Not

This drop in temperature is wonderful. I finally turned off the a/c and when I got into bed last night it was a bit chilly. I snuggled under the covers and had a good nights sleep.
I woke up this morning feeling refreshed which I haven't felt in quite awhile. I didn't even feel as if I needed coffee to get myself going.
Today is another rainy day with thunderstorms predicted. I don't mind the rain so much as I do love the cooler temperatures.
Yesterday I declared it a day off and didn't feel like doing anything around the house. Today it's back to the daily grind....vacuuming, laundry, dishes etc.
Of course, can't start my day off without checking in here and saying hello.

I got the few things done that needed doing and then I read my book for awhile. Hope the rain held off so you were able to get your grass mowed.

Rain makes te air feel fresher too.Right now you can look at the east hills where Mount Hamilton is and see a layer of smoke from the wildfires.

Oh, I do not like the drop in temperature... I'm a "hot-house flower" 
I slept until 9:30 today and even then didn't want to leave the cosiness of my bed, but I did.

When you have people over you have to remember not turn the heat up because if they are wearng long sleeves...well, p.u.!!! LOL

Its quite cold here both yesterday as well as today.
I'll be happy when the seasonable weather returns.
I did some vacuuming, mopping and scrubbing this morning.
This afternoon I increase my hours at work from 2 to 3.
I know it still isn't a lot, but its a positive sign that I am recovering.
The compensation board wants me to take it very slowly.

@Marilynda1225 No, they want to make sure that my employer is accommodating my needs. We have a meeting with the return to work specialist and me and my employer later on this afternoon.
I've been filling out electronic forms online for my mileage reimbursement this morning, I have physio in a bit and then go in early for that meeting followed by work. Its been a busy day today.

Glad to hear that you're able to increase your working hours even if it's just by one more hour. Little by little and you'll be back to regular hours. I'm sure the compensation board doesn't want you to rush either.

not much. just waiting to see if daughter works today. i did wake up far too early because of congestion in my nose and throat. took an Allegra. that helped. been raining way too much here as usual.

@Marilynda1225 here too except it is big windy down pours for about halph hour with lightning and thunder , then it stops and the sun comes out blazing and quiet as though nothing happened

It's been a very rainy summer and now it seems as if September has joined too. It's been raining for the past few days here (not torrential downpours but enough to be annoying).

I had to take a hoodie with me when going out this morning. It was wonderful! I was so happy.

Sun! Sun is new in my world today. Well, I mean that it finally returned after many days. I'm happy about it!
High temp this week is supposed to be 85 F, which is fine with me too.
