My hospital appointment went as usual. Meaning they had to call the swat nurse to start the I V. After that it was naptime. It was a good nap too. I don't take the Benedryl/Tylenol cocktail anymore. It always made me sleepy, but it also made me really groggy when the session was over. I don't need that. Besides, I was still tired from my day yesterday and didn't need anything to relax me and make me sleep. I didn't eat before I left, so I would get a good reading on the scale, and it was better than mine and the one at the Y, so I'll take it. I'm just now getting hungry, though I did have two bananas when I got home and just finished off a bit of something I made up the other day to take care of a sweet tooth. So, I'm going to get away from here and make something, most likely eggs, even though it is almost 4:30. With the Paleo diet, I'm allowed honey and dark chocolate chips, and the recipe that I usually make was slightly modified to include those two ingredients, and still be healthy for me. I will be spending the rest of today working on a book. What are your plans for the day? No, @JudyEv, I'm not going to wash my floors. I didn't get any writing done yesterday, except for here. It's time I get back to that, and see what I can accomplish today. Have a great day/night and see you back here later or tomorrow. Thanks for reading.

I'm glad everything at the hospital went well. Honey and dark chocolate chips sounds good lol. As for my day, I didn't do anything out of the usual, at least not that I can remember.

Honey and dark chocolate are officially out of my diet again. Even if they are allowed, I can't do it.

I'm not saying they don't need washing, just that I'm not doing them, at least not yesterday. Maybe this weekend.

@JudyEv I don't. However, before I have my first home group on October 5th, I'm going to need to wash the floors and give them a good vacuuming too. Watch, I'll probably do it all on October 5th.

@just4him no way. My legs are so sore. They’ve been getting progressively worse as the day goes on. I’ve been up and down the stairs 5 times and it has sucked. I’ll go tomorrow.

In Paleo diet, what are the prohibited foods? Does it necessitate you to cut your portions of the foods.?

Yes, you do need to use portions more. I don't eat a lot anyway, or more than two meals a day, so I haven't really done portions yet. However, they do cut out some fruits that are high in natural sugar and potatoes. So, I do need to watch what I eat. One thing I'm finding is that it does allow a couple sweets - Stevia and honey. Also dark chocolate chips - not the milk chocolate ones. Butter is also one I can use. Though I don't use butter very often because I've gone a year without it.

I stuck around home until I was able to get a hair appointment for very late afternoon. I was almost the last appointment and had an unexpected opportunity to walk with someone before I went home. I've spent most of my online time here today, and did a bit of decluttering.

@just4him So how did weigh go? Are you working on a new book or finishing up books you already wrote?

It was better than what my scale said and the one at the Y, so I'll take that one. Though it's bouncing around as usual. It's up a few pounds again. I am seeing though, when I do lose a lot, that when it bounces back, it doesn't go back to what it was, so it is coming down, which is good. I'm not working on anything new right now, but books that need finishing, and trying to decide which one I will work on next to publish. I do have several finished novels to choose from, and if I finish one, it adds another I can get ready to publish.

Oh dear, hope everything is alright - and what is a swat nurse? Doesn't sound fun. Like I told mom recently when we went for her scans - there was a sign for "float pool" - so I said - "that's probably not as much fun as it sounds" (pool full of floaties... me think not)

A swat nurse, the acronym of which was only told me once, is a special nurse who can start an IV with no trouble. They also use a device to find your veins to make it easier to get it started.
