I work in a small town, and because I work with the public on a daily basis I know a lot of the people in town. Many of my regular customers, work in other businesses in town and because there aren't many choices when it comes to shopping not only do I see them when they come into my store but often when I shop at the store they work at as well.
There is a regular that everyone at our store knows. He always had a smile on his face, was always happy to be doing whatever he was doing, and was always super sweet and nice to anyone he came in contact with. He was one of those people who made you happy with how happy he was. We saw him at DT every other day, if not every day.
When my co-worker/friend and I went shopping at Walmart yesterday after work, we saw tables set up at the entrances with his picture on it. And condolences cards.
We were both shocked to hear that Jeremiah had passed. He was so young, younger than me. To see that he had died at such a young age was really a surprise to both of us.
Last night I saw how he had died. He had suffered a seizure while in the shower either the day before or two days before and hit his head and died.
So sad, such a sad loss of such a beautiful person. He will be missed. He grew up in the little town that I work in, and because it is such a small community, nearly everybody knew who he was. It was and still is a shock to the town, and those who were lucky enough to come into contact with him, either through work or in one of the other many things that held his interest. He loved marine biology and going to chruch and was part of the theatre in high school. He touched so many lives in his own short one.
I know we will miss his smiling face at work.
Rest in peace, Jeremiah.

I'm so sorry. I just hate it when people so young die like that.

That is very sad news indeed. A tragic thing to happen. At least he will never be forgotten.
