Hurricane Florence threatens coastal states of East US

Hurricane Florence which is categorized as a strong storm which can bring heavy rainfall and floods is nearing coast of North Carolina. Georgia has declared emergency measures along with four other coastal states to tackle with this problem. I hope that adequate measures are taken to protect people and animals. Source :

I hope all is safe especially my parents in law are in NC. The hurricane did go down to category 1, but the flooding and rain says to be considered as category 4.

Thankfully as the storm reaches it has gone down to a category 1, but it is a very wide and slow going storm so it is still very bad. I just hope it isn't as devastating as people think it will be, I saw some livestream footages of the storm and it was pretty bad but not as bad as it could have been and thankfully many people evacuated just in time.

Some bad weather is heading our way here too. I am not sure I like the coming thunderstorm with heavy rain and horrible winds. My back gates got broken 4 times so far this year.
