We are Moving House!

My partner Jay and my mom and I have finally bought our new home! It is a two story house located in a lovely city called Maple Ridge here in BC, Canada. It is about 35 minutes away from where we live now, so not too far but far enough away from the not-so-great area we are trying to get away from! I will post more pics soon, but the one above is a pic I took when we were first looking at the house. September 29th is our moving day and I feel like I have been packing non-stop. This is our first time buying (and hopefully last) a home.

Tha looks very nice house you bought. It looks lovely that trees and lots of green and other colors surround the place. The only back breaking thing in moving places is the packing and the unpacking of things. I can imagine there will be lots of things you have to move around the house before finally settling there for good. Goodluck on your new home and enjoy it!

@MissNikki I would expect that the unpacking has now been dealt with. I know how exhausting that job is. I have been there myself.

@rsa101 Not all of it but the mass majority is finished. Some things may stay in storage for awhile.

Yes, the move day itself was very stressful but it is long gone now and I am very happy here. Still have some boxes in the garage and stuff to deal with at some point.

Congratulations on buying your first home. Moving is really hard work, but you'll learn as you go what you do need and what you do not need, and hopefully you part with what you do not need so that if another home comes on the market that you'd prefer then you can move without too much hassle. We didn't like moving, but we liked making money on the buying and selling process.
