Losing food you purchased can drive you crazy!

My wife went to the supermarket earlier today. But after getting home and unpacking her purchases, she can't find a block of cheese she knows she bought. And there's a jug of milk missing also. Looks like somehow one of her grocery bags was left behind. Getting home and realizing you don't have something you bought and paid for can drive you crazy! She's going to call the store and see if they found her missing purchases. But even if they did, having to drive back to the store to get them can disrupt the rest of your day. On the other hand, on a day when tropical storm Florence is still putting people in danger, I realize there are a lot worse things in life than losing some cheese. It's annoying but as you say it's small bikkies in the scale of things. I don't get nearly as wound up about stuff as I used to.

I've done this before. I've also left behind leftovers at Olive Garden that would have made a complete lunch for my missus and me the next day. It was all boxed up and everything. I got distracted by a friend sitting at a nearby table when it came time to leave and walked out without the bag.

You are so very right about that. It does make one stop and think. It's hotter here than usual but Florence is putting things on everyone's mind.

Hope you find both the cheese and the milk.

Yes, there are many people with much more serious problems, Still, we don;t like to lose things or forget them somewhere. I hope that they found the missing bag of groceries.

Believe me sometimes when my sister comes home from the local Wal Mart and is missing something like milk, soda pop and any other item, in the words of the song title "I Go Crazy".

That has happened to me on occasion and I always check my receipt and when I see that I paid for the lost item, I go back to the store , explain what happened, show my receipt and they let me get the item.
