Becoming millionaire requires little effort-- just fall in line diligently. No bruhaha. And when your turn is up, lightly choose the number, there must be 6 numbers. Give it to the teller and a piece of paper will given to you. This must be your ticket. Pay the amount, 24 pesos, including VAT.

By far, this is the biggest pot in the lottery lotto in the Philippines. And tonight is another draw.
Longest line in the outlets. As long as when relief goods is given to typhoon victims.

6 numbers out of 58. Doesn't sound too hard, does it? It depends on the exact prize distribution and conditions but your chances of winning ANY PRIZE AT ALL are something like once in 95 plays. You have a much better chance of throwing 6 coins on the ground and finding them all to be 'heads' than you have of winning any prize at all!
Your chances of being struck by lightning are significantly greater than your chances of winning the jackpot (1 in 40+million).
And still thousands of people spend 20 pesos a ticket in the vain hope of becoming a millionaire! Still, as they say, if you DON'T buy a ticket, you have NO chance of winning!

We have a saying here "better waiting for something than no chance at all." People started to rush the ticket outlets when the jackpot reach 500 million pesos, it has been 2 weeks people lining up but no one win the prize, it goes up 600 million now.
1 of 40 million chance. Well, I think more than million people buying tickets and many of them buying more than 2 tickets. Which means, we're closer to the winning.

No need to fall in line. I might encounter a not so good scene again when people do not fall in line and insert somewhere instead or I might smell a horrible thing again. But, yes I already bought my ticket in advance hoping that mother of luck will hand me some fortune from the game of chance.

Indeed, the line is very long when the jeepney passed by a lotto outlet. Everyone wants to be a millionaire.
I only buy those cards that have winning numbers when you scratch them. The most I won was 100 pesos or $1.88.
