What a Mixed Up Day

Happy Wednesday everyone!
It's a beautiful sunny day here in my little corner of the myLot world. It's still warm but not as hot and muggy as previous days have been. Even the dogs enjoyed being out for awhile this morning.
I'm late getting here as my morning has just been totally turned upside down.
The dog groomer was supposed to be here at 10am so my daughter and I got up early, had coffee and breakfast before she came. Well, she didn't come and we waited and waited. My daughter texted and no response so by 11:30am we assumed something happened and she isn't going to show.
Of course both of us are annoyed because in this day and age you would think everyone could find the time to send a text even if it's a short one.
Now it's almost time for lunch and I'm just going to heat up a Weight Watchers Smart Ones since I really don't have anything else in mind to have. It's good to have these onhand for days like this.
After lunch I need to pack up an order for something I sold and get it ready to mail.
I've managed to get around to catching up on some notifications here but haven't had the time I really wanted to spend. Hopefully I'll be able to pop on and off as the day progresses but there are a few things I need to do and step away from the computer.

@Marilynda1225 Oh that is too bad. I do hope that she's on the mend and can be discharged soon.
I have a hair appointment tomorrow, so I know how your dogs must feel.
Its always nice to have a fresh hair cut.

Apparently she has been in the hospital for a few days so it wasn't just an excuse. We'll reschedule when she's back and feeling better. I'm not expecting a discount. She's a lady with lots of problems at home and now it seems things have added to her already full plate. I'll reschedule when she's feeling better and the dogs can wait another two weeks or so.

We did call and text when she didn't show but later in the day we got a message that she is in the hospital and has been for a few days. They apologized for the inconvenience and I feel bad that something is wrong with her. We'll reschedule when she's feeling better.

I absloutely hate when people can't take a few minutes or even seconds out of their day to call or text that things have changed. Smh. Sorry they didn't show.

We received a message later in the day that she was in the hospital and apologized for any missed appointments. Apparently she has been in the hospital for a few days so it wasn't just an excuse. We'll reschedule when she's back and feeling better.

I have had an okay day so far except for an appointment I had the lady ticked me off royally.
But I am home now and away from that nonsense.
Have super day Marilyn I am sorry to know of that no conscience dog groomer that is totally unprofessional.

the groomer was indeed unprofessional. Apparently she has been in the hospital for a few days so it wasn't just an excuse. We'll reschedule when she's back and feeling better

They are going OK..it's nice here but is supposed to warm up this afternoon..I would be happy if I didn't have to turn the AC on, but I might need it at some point.

I too get annoyed when people do not inform me if they have changed their plans.
Preiti is not well again. The Vet is expected today. I have asked him to get her blood tested again.

Yes. Things are going well in Austin, Texas. People are still going to the pool, even though summer is officially over. That's the kind of weather we're experiencing. We moved to this city in 1998 and didn't know anybody. It was a good decision. I've never regretted it.

Normally I try to have little homemade meals put away in the freezer but sometimes I need one of those premade ones to have on hand
