Here is the next addition of music trivia tunes which uses a travel term or theme in its title. I'm a "Travelin' Man," as Ricky Nelson famously sang in his #1 hit single off the "Ricky is 21" album of 1961. And who doesn't want to travel in syle. So these quiz answers will focus on Artists who recorded "cool car" songs. Enjoy the tune as you figure out Whodunnit.... to these songs and artists? Here are your clues: 1. This artist has a thing for songs about cars. New Jersey, where the artist is from, is a state really big on cars. His first car was a '57 Chevy with orange flames painted on the side. The song is a tribute to a location in Texas, where 10 cars reside, buried hood-first in a wheat field. This artist's most successful studio albums, Born to Run (1975) and Born in the U.S.A. (1984) find pleasures in the struggles of daily American life. Fun fact: Despite his massive popularity, this band/artist has never had a #1 single. 2. This was the only hit for this band who were a County-Rock group formed at the University of Michigan in 1967. The band's style mixed country, rock 'n' roll, western swing, rockabilly, and jump blues together on a foundation of boggie-woogie piano. The song is about a drag race between this "souped up car" and a Cadillac. Apparently the Daddy of the son in the song was so upset with his racing, he was going to turn to drinking if he continued. 3. This Minnesota legend wrote the song "Manic Monday" for the group the Bangles. His innovative music integrated a wide variety of styles, including funk, rock, R&B, new wave, soul, psychedelia, and pop. Fun fact: This artist referred to the color purple in songs and wardrobe, however it was not his favorite color. The trivia song is about sex, but it's just ambiguous enough not to offend most listeners. In addition to the title, he uses several other automobile metaphors in the song. In 1984, this Artist had a hit motion picture "Purple Rain", which simultaneously gave him the No. 1 album, single, and film in the US, it was the first time a singer had achieved this feat. Liner Note: -You might of heard of the B-side of Travelin' Man another hit single called "Hello Mary Lou." - "Poor Little Fool" recorded by Ricky Nelson in 1958, was the first #1 song on Billboard magazine's then-newly created Hot 100 chart. He recorded 19 additional Top 10 hits and was inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. -Honorable Mention Song: Slow Ride/Foghat (always a good idea to take it easy while driving) So Whodunnit? If your stuck and need additional "help from your friends" just let me know in your response. As always thanks for reading and responding to my music post !!!! I'm not stuck. I don't know any of them, and I doubt I've heard them. Though the song Born in the USA does ring a bell, no clue as to that artist. It will be interesting to see who they are.

@dgobucks226 I was right. Not familiar with any of them, and only know Bruce Springsteen, but was never a fan, so don't know any of his music. Oh yeah, I know Prince too, but not his music.
