My Olivia Newton-John rosebush is blooming

I have four rose bushes and they have netting around them to fend off the kangaroos which seem to love the leaves and flowers. Somehow they manage to avoid the thorns.
One bloomed just a day or two ago and I took a photo of the flower. This rose is called Olivia Newton-John and it seemed appropriate to write about it here following the news that the popular star is facing another battle with cancer.
The rose is classified as a floribunda hedging rose and has double flowers which are a peach/apricot colour. It also has a delicate fragrance. My rose bush must be as tough as Olivia as it’s been stripped of most of its leaves several times.
And just for your information, I'll be away now probably till Sunday or Monday. See you later.

@MarymargII No, I'm afraid it doesn't sing but it does hum - and a very nice scent it is too.

Rose plants look pretty only when roses bloom.Otherwise they are an ugly site. Gardeners never have spots for rose bushes at any prominent places. for this reason.
This rose is pretty.

I like Olivia Newton-John. Sorry to hear about her illness. But the rose is a lovely tribute to her.

It was announced probably a week or so ago now. It's very sad.

That's a beautiful rose right those. But if it has thorns over there then I should be careful over there.

There seems to be a downside to most things. For a rose, it is the thorns.
