Is it true that there is a part time job online to chat and get paid? Chatting with lonely people all around the world can earn you 0.3 per msg. I forgot the website. Does anyone of you tried it?

if it's an adult site, there might be topics you wouldn't be comfortable talking about. also, what if they asked to see you/turn on your camera?

I don't know the website but that pay rate is very low. If you mean ChatAbout, that closed years ago.
