Monsoon is here again, at least this is a cool day, the first we have had really. It will not get out of the 60's today. This is a great day to make goulash. I love goulash, and nobody makes it like my mother so I had to check with her on the recipe again, because I don't make it very often. I think I am also going to make apple crisp, another favorite and will allow me to use the oven. What are some of your favorite cool weather recipes?

I love it..it tends to make a large quantity though. I still have some in the freezer from the last time I made it. Fortunately, I don't have a lot of macaroni now..so that should cut down on the quantity.

Fall has arrived here too even though it's cloudy and overcast.
I'm thinking of making some pumpkin muffins this afternoon.
Goulash sounds like a great idea for a day like today.

so do pumpkin muffins! You know you can make regular muffins..like with a mix and a can of pumpkin right? They are quite good, and not too fattening.

@snowy22315 that's exactly how I make them. I love using a carrot cake mix with the pumpkin
