How Do We Know We "Know" what We 'Know,' You Know?

I learned some new things ... in summary, that the words "God" and "Lord" are most-likely sourced in an otherwise rejected section of The Dead Sea Scrolls (called "The Book of Enoch"). Most people--when they talk about Our Heavenly Father--use 'those words' without specifying which god or -lord they're talking about ... reminds me of how--when you're an infant--pretty-much ANY 'big person who can carry you' registers (in your mind) as "parent." Anyway---I tell others about this 'new truth,' http://www.mylot.com/post/3216085/satan-loves-gospel-music-so-add-this-discernment-as-you-listen and they respond with "reaffirmations of the reality they think is the real one' ... asking things like, "What are you smoking?" 'What am I smoking? It's called "fresh air!"' ... Funny how--if you've spent enough time in a stinky room--a clean room smells 'stinky' to you. Makes me think of "Morpheus introducing Thomas 'Neo' Anderson to 'the truth of reality'"---"What is real? How do you define real? If you're talking about what you feel, taste, smell, or see, then real is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain." I imagine most 'devoted believers' would call that comment "a trick the devil uses to convince you that 'what you think is real' isn't really real (that black is white, that good is evil, that winners are losers, that living is dying, etc.)" But then, maybe that's a sign that 'the devil' has already convinced them that he is the Highest One, and that 'when you give him your praise & worship & desperation'--you're actually giving it to Our Heavenly Father And then I hear from atheists (who believe they aren't affected by this stuff). But I see they're just as "duped" as believers are when they describe 'how they "know" their reality'---they'll say, "Think!" ... the root of that word means 'to cause to appear (in one's mind)'---almost like the word "imagine" (except THAT ONE doesn't require the imagine-er to 'bring the image to the mind'). That is; the atheists are 'believing what someone else tells them (backed by lots of other "stories they believed before")' just as much as Christians are believing 'Christian beliefs' based on 'pre-Christian (Jewish) beliefs.' (Just like babies believe that--since mommy or daddy held them close before--anyone holding them close must be mommy or daddy )

Agree. In addition lord or god is a title, agree with what yo have written, which god, because there are so many false gods, but there is only One true God and He has a name,.

Right ... at first, but the last part is-- ... it's tricky. Because 'God' (in the name of the fallen angel who's trying to take Our Heavenly Father's place) only means 'Wall' (maybe 'surrounding fortress that protects us'). Maybe Our Heavenly Father "has a name," but that's not for us to know. Just like infants don't know (and don't need to know) mommy-&-daddy's names, we Children-of-YHWH don't need to know that name

Is this a rose, or is it God? Whats in a name?
We can call God whatever we like, but the God of love is the real God, and we recognise this, when we feel his real love. Love lives, and always lives, and yet roots of evil grow in its soil. God allows this so that his creation can see itself within love, and then see what it is doing to love, and eventually grow wise, and allow their roots to reach deep into love, and receive all the sustenance it can, rather than just scattering its roots on love’s surface, and so losing their footing, falling over, and blaming love for this, calling the fall evil instead. I know what you mean. But satan is a trickster, who can make you 'feel' what you think is love. I guess I'm saying, 'Sure, trust your feelings; but don't trust them over real proof!'

@innertalks Right, and that's where 'all the praying & rejoicing & praising & swearing-allegiance & devotion' belongs. Not to say "you shouldn't 'give Our Heavenly Father praise out-loud'" (since the body can only contain 'so much' joyfulness before it 'bursts out' ), but you should remember that "where Our Heavenly Father truly meets you is "behind the closed door of your private room"
“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven. “So when you give to the needy, do not

@mythociate Real love is not just about feelings though either, it is a certain inner knowing, which is a sort of truth, or proof for us, because this deep inner knowing we know comes from God.
