Potato Soup For Dinner

I love potatoes! Always have. I am a tator from Idaho. We are having potato soup tonight. It is made by hand, no recipe. Just the right amount of such things as the evaporated milk, butter and that shiredy sauce. Oh, yes it is perfection!
Do like potato soup? Had it lately? It's that time of year.

i love potato soup,but i'm gonna have to change the recipe slightly.we always put corn in it,but my mom can no longer have corn due to diverticulitis.

I think potato soup is real good, I made it for the first time about 2 years ago. Last year I made a real big pot and also made some sour dough bread to eat with it. I took some of it to one of my neighbors. Just the other day we were talking and both of us agreed that it is about that time of year to be making some more.

@celticeagle Oh it is, needless to say though, the sour dough bread doesn't last long. I make three small loaves at a time and when my kids are here two loaves will be gone in about five minutes.

Yes, I do like it..although it has been quite awhile since I have had any. I never made any homemade but I bet it would be delicious! Maybe I will try making some this weekend...as I have lots of potatoes.

I have not had potato soup in a long time. Yours sounds delicious. I have made mine with spinach and bacon too.

According to me any item which you made for your eating purpose is one type of recipe. But I personally don't like any soup. Don't take it otherwise.
