Greenflies on roses and whiskers on women
people in public who wash dirty linen
wasps and mosquitos and all things that sting
these are a few of my unfavourite things.
Hanging out washing and then getting showers
squirrels that dig up my lawn and my flowers
nasty big spiders and webs that they spin
these are a few of my unfavourite things.
Delays at airports and groaners and moaners
people who wait till we're eating then phone us
setting a password which makes me feel grim
these are a few of my unfavourite things.
When the sun shines, when the birds sing
and I'm feeling glad
I sometimes remember unfavourite things
and then I just feel so bad.
Scam calls and junk mail that promise me millions
African princes who will give me trillions
people who think they are higher than kings
these are a few of my unfavourite things.
Talking in theaters and rude shop assistants
from those sort of folk I will keep my distance
impatient drivers and insults they sling
these are a few of my unfavourite things.
Speed cops who catch us then judges who fine us
talentless celebs who think they outshine us
vain politicians with their smarmy grins
these are a few of my unfavourite things.
When the sun shines, when the birds sing
and I'm feeling glad
I sometimes remember unfavourite things
and then I just feel so bad.
I'll bet you can add a few things to my list

OMG OMG OMG - I got to learn the words to this most delightful parody. YOU ROCK!!! Wouldn't it be awesome if someone picked this up and recorded it. It'd rake in millions and of course you'd get royalties.

Super duper job and such beautiful flowers! Are those bleeding hearts or begonias?
You seemed to hit all my unfavorite things, but I could add copycats, braggers, complainers, oddballs, jealousy, and stupidity. The list could go on, but I have notifications to get to.

How about people that liter. People that spit in public. People that don't pick up after their dogs. People that smoke near the entrance to a hospital.

Roos that eat roses and rabbits that dig holes
Drivers that tail-gate and those who must spread colds
A canary that you buy but which fails to sing
Those are some of my unfavourite things
