A Silent Wish, Granted Unexpectedly

Last Friday, I went to a seminar for a company that sells computers , electronics, IT gadgets and solutions, together with my girl officemates, an IT personnel and the Admin officer .
At the start of the seminar they were asking questions about their company and amongst the prizes were powerbanks , music box , printer and a lot more.
I had been wanting a powerbank , since sometimes it goes blackout or brownout at home and my phone is drained, that I have no way to charge it.
When the lady emcee asked a question, I raised my hand since I knew it and answered. It was correct! So, I won a powerbank !
Another question after some more questions, and I won a cute notebook with small "post its" in neon colors on it's inside cover. I gave it to my hubby since he said he will use it to take notes for the orientation of his new job.
It was a lucky Friday! I went for seminar without knowing that I will be having what I am silently wishing for – a powerbank!
Have you ever had a silent wish and it was granted unexpectedly?

@sunrisefan it's quite cheap at 1,899 based on your description on what it can do. (but then i have no idea how much a car battery costs haha!)
so how many hours does it take to recharge that powerbank? and once charged, how many days does it last?
oh, and can i see your rechargeable fan, too?

@hereandthere I think it takes about 3 to four hours to charge but it can last up to 3 months. It stores much power at 68,800mAh. When I used it to jump start my car, the power bar has not even diminished. Curious about the cost of a car battery? I bought a new 11 plates Motolite Excel battery yesterday at P6,895 less the cost of the old battery at 465 which I traded in. Another friend of mine who also has a jump starter (don't know if it's the same as mine but he says it's about 5K) has already rescued some of his friends and even strangers on the road.

Congratz but I don't think you were simply lucky to get what you wanted, you were knowledgeable and probobly attentive to the lessons and topics and fast that's why you beat the rest in answering the question

Thank you.
I was really so happy it was the prize they gave me when I answered their question.
Their question was easy to me because they are one of our suppliers for computers and the like.

At least, you know that sometimes in your life, you won or got a prize unexpectedly.

That is very useful when travelling long distance as well. Although some says it is not allowed in plane. but I have travelled with it and they allowed it for as long as you hand carry them and not put in the check in luggage. One thing I do not want is its weight can be very heavy when you have large MAh capacity.

@SIMPLYD yes. I play games on Getpaidto.com and they have a thing called Game of the Week. You get free points if you get over the amount of points chosen. I have won a couple of times. I was really wishing this past week that I would win and I did.

@JudyEv Already tried it yesterday. I had my phone fully charged while we were having a meeting. The powerbank was full with 4 lights. After it charged my phone fully, it still have 2 lights. So I can still chaarge it maybe for one full charge. I will try it tonight if it can still fully charge my phone when it has drained.

It's a small thing to celebrate. But I was so happy I now have a powerbank without spending a cent.
Yesterday, I used it while we were having our Management Committee meeting in the afternoon. So convenient.

Yes, thank you. And yesterday it served me well already. I had my phone charged while we were having a meeting. At least, I have tested that it is a good one too. I fully charged it and still have two lights from its 4 lights. It means it can still charge some more if the case is so.
