What Gives You Hope?

I have had a lot of people ask how I continue living without my son. I have hope. Hope for another day. Hope for a better day. Hope that one day I will understand more of what has happened in my life. Hope. Where does it come from? I get it from within my soul.I keep this bluebird plaque hanging in my screen room and see it every single day. I know my son would want me to have hope and happiness. What about you? Where does your hope come from?

My hope comes from God's promises recorded in the Bible. I believe them. Here is one example. Acts 24:15 (AMPC) 15 Having [the same] hope in God which these themselves hold and look for, that there is to be a resurrection both of the righteous and the unrighteous (the just and the unjust).

@CarolDM I try to keep my hope high. Without hope we are lost and sad. Hope fill us with energy and joy.

@1hopefulman Yes it does that is why I am always looking for things to keep my spirits up.
I feel that family is what keeps me going, and hopefully, like you say, always will.
Even in should they become absent, I will always keep hope in my life.

My hope comes from the fact that I do try and do my meditation everyday. It helps me to control my mind and does give me hope to fight all odds.

Many ups and downs has happened in my life. The most hurting is my mother' s lost. That too mum suffered a lot and on other side mom contributed a big valuable part in our family. Later I lived only on hope that something better good will come .. anything can happen any time... looking for better one to come

My hope comes from God. And my husband and family. I'm so sorry about your son, Carol. I know you miss him every single day.
