They Arrested Him

They just arrested a man in Winter Haven. He threatened to shoot members of Congress and as many other people as possible. He said he had lots of ammunition and would hide out in a tunnel under his house. It is amazing that he put these things on his Facebook page and thought he would not get into trouble because he did not mention names. He must have known that someone would turn him in. I am so sad over what is happening in this country and it seems like people are going nuts.

Things are way out of control on both sides. We are sliding into anarchy.

@akalinus Unbelieveable how people can act is such ways. And when they are punished they pretend to be innocent.

The guy is probably just seeking attention, if I were planning something as sinister I wont go around announcing it and even telling where I plan to hide, good thing they arrested that loud mouth.

He told the cops that he did not mean it. I think he did.

Hate and crazy are becoming way to normal in this country, but with a crazy hater in the Oval Office such people feel justified in letting their own worst selves show.

He did not really want to do what he announced. Should I decide to do something like this, I would keep it secret. This man surely has mental problems.

@LadyDuck They let murderers out of jail and they kill again. They let mentally ill back out on the streets and they do heinous things to innocent people.

If I was planning something diabolical (I'm not) like that, I would never put it on FB. I never put much of anything on FB. You are right, he has mental problems. It is a big concern in this country because the mental health system does not work well. When the insurance ends, you are well and sent back to society and many people don't get services at all.

There is something wrong with the food supply or the water or it is something in the air. People are acting like real jerks.

@akalinus It's not happening in the US only.In our country also the situation is not much different.People get violent at the slightest provocation.Today a man who was a auto rickshaw driver was killed in New Delhi, our national Capital city,by a man whose dog was injured by the auto rickshaw.People seem to have gone mad.

There is too much rage and too little reason. People seem to take revenge on anything even if it is not what hurt them.

@Shivram59 He should have said he was sorry to run over the dog and that the dog got in the way and he tried to avoid it but couldn't. He should have expressed sorrow over the owner's loss.

I think he was just seeking for attention. Just didn’t realize how easy it is for him to be tracked by authorities.

@akalinus Well there’s a lot of it still evidence of that is the one you just told. There’s a lot of people who thinks that way. They feel invulnerable online but the truth is they are more vulnerable online than offline.

I don't understand how he couldn't know. There are a lot of stories around about people being arrested for what they post on FB. Once there was a guy with a stack of money bragging about how he robbed a bank.

What was he thinking when he poated that. Specially, when your social.media account is public, it is possible that someone of authority can read it and have you apprehended foe saying those.

I think that someone read his rant on FB and all his racist posts and alerted authorities. They got an arrest warrant and a search warrant for his home and had him arrested in five hours. They surely thought he was a danger to the country.
