Got A Raccoon In The House

As most of you know there is a hurricane in the gulf coming right at Panama City beach It was upgraded this morning to a 3 and they have a mandatory evacuation.
Only emergency worker, police, firemen and security are supposed to stay.
Tony`s sister, more cousins, and her daughter called and ask to come stay. Well of coarse they can!
They arrived at noon. But they also brought their pet, its a half grown raccoon.
I am a country girl but how the hell do I entertain a raccoon? They laid down for a nap. I pulled its cage over a bit so it would be able to see the t.v., I hope it likes watching t.v. 
As for me I came to my office, closed the door. I am mylotting and soon will fill an order for Sunshine`s homestead creations..

They are fun to have around. About anything can be a toy for a raccoon. But leave it in its cage unless you plan on babysitting heavy. They can and will open cupboard and closet doors.

Tony told them we have glue traps out year round, they said they wont allow him t run the house.

@andriaperry lol oh I LOVE raccoons! They are my favourite animal! I wouldn't know how to entertain one either though lol

Oh my! They are troublesome when roaming, my husband had one for a pet. They are smart! Lol. Have fun with your guests! =)

I have never in my life thought anyone would have a racoon as a pet. They certainly don't seem very friendly.
That hurricane looks pretty bad so hoping your guests don't have any damage when they can return home.

I had an uncle that raised a raccoon once. They tend to get mean when they get mature. Or at least ChaCha did.

At least your relations were smart enough to evacuate when they could.
Stay safe....I expect you'll get some of the effects, just not the full force.
