Friday Morning Greetings

Happy Friday Everyone!
It's a sunny day here today which is most welcome after the pouring rain we had yesterday. The temperatures are starting to drop and I'll probably be getting out the warmer clothes as the weekend arrives.
I had a busy morning so far but it wasn't exciting by any means. Just the usual vacuuming, cleaning the bathrooms and laundry.
I did have a long conversation with my Aunt which was a nice way to start the day. I had just poured my coffee when the phone rang so we had our coffee talk (well she had tea). She lives in Massachusetts so I haven't seen her and my Uncle since my mom passed away almost 2 years ago. We talk about getting together and as much as I'd like to do the trip there something always seems to come up and the days just fly by.
I almost finished my book and can't believe I had to close it with less than 30 pages left. The it will be time to figure out which book to read next.
It's a pretty routine day here....what's going on with you?

We had rain off and on last night and then all today until around 1pm. Also had some thunder between 730 and 930 this morning.
Mom and I ran a few more errands today then took Gabby and Nick to Friendlys for dinner.

Our temperature has really dropped and I'm enjoying the Fall weather. I hope that the heat doesn't return.

You are better than me. I rarely clean, but because we don't have animals and the kids are all grown up we don't get much dust and dirt. If it gets really bad the hubs will pick up the dust mop and that's a good thing. I will be painting most of the day. ( and putting my beads away.)

I am seriously thinking of going to stay with my sister for a fortnight and helping her and my nephew with their goats at two agricultural shows. I'd pick Vince up at the airport on the way home at the end of the month.

I hope you’d find the time to meet up with your aunt and uncle. As for me, I am doing okay. I went out today to buy some birthday presents for my sister-in-law who’s celebrated her birthday yesterday. Then I had some take out food from Tokyo Tempura for dinner. I am just enjoying my alone time in my room right now. Later, I will be doing some packing because my partner and I are going on an out-of-town trip on Monday.

The rain has moved out, the sun is shinning today and it is finally feeling like autumn. I have to leave in a little while to go work then when I get home Mike is going to fix our dinner. Enjoy your day
