Traditionally here at Mangalore most people have chicken or mutton curry / rice or Biriyani on Sundays since they eat fish and sea food all days through the week. I decided to go vegetarian today , using as little spice as possible. So, I made a mixed vegetable pulao using green masala paste made with ginger,mint,coriander leaves,garlic and a few green chilies and a raita made with yougurt and cucumber...

It has bay leaves which adds flavor and plenty of chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves.
