Our ficus palms were invaded by a particular insect which looks like a tiny white butterfly. They came in huge grooups and just as new leaves shot up they would be devoured. And this happened during summer.
They have now disappeared with the onset of monsoon and we now see new leaves in all their glory. I clicked a photo of one of them today and am happy to share it with you here.

I have many of these plants that produce these fresh leaves at different times and there is no guarantee that those pests would not arrive

@allknowing I think they will be back for as long as the plant is surviving it.

These new leaves are really beautiful. This is the first time I have seen such beautiful leaves. They are really different from the old ones.

@allknowing We are mosquitoes free from November up to the end of April, if we are lucky until mid-May.

I have a number of these plants all over the garden and hoping they will produce such leaves.
