After The Break

After the break I went out and walked the dogs and picked more greens, two dollar general sacks packed full.
I came inside just before dark.
Took a rest and wrote another blog post, saved it in draft for when I want to post it.
Tony came home just after I got done writing and he did have me a few fish, three bass, one was a good size the others were about a pound each. He was exhausted and in pain. He took a quick shower and I fed him and applied biofreeze to his joint pain. He is out of it now, sleeping. I went outside and cleaned the fish, since I had already ate I froze them.
I cleaned up the greens and I have a canner full processing now and a half of a pot leftover, I think I will freeze those and give`em to my sister.
I folded the laundry on my be and put it away.
All I have to do is wash the canner and put it away, take a hot soaking bath and I will be ready for bed.

You had a productive garden. Congrats. And fresh fish. Yum. I drove out a ways and went to a farmer store, I guess you could call it, silos and warehouses and fields there. Anyway, I bought a 25 pound bag of brown rice and 50 pounds of steel cut oats. Not sure why but they didn't have any wheat berries. We grind the wheat into flour for our bread.

@andriaperry We have bought 25 pound bags of rice for years- mostly we end up ordering from a health food store. Food co-ops are cool places if you can find one.
